The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of May 31, 2026:

Diane Yan is the new executive vice president and CFO at Great Dane.
Phil Atwell is the new vice president of automation sales at Transflo.
Jason Lippert will retire as president and CEO and member of LCI Industries' board of directors. Johnny Sirpilla will serve as interim CEO. Viriginia "Ginnie" Henkels is the new chair of the board of directors, succeeding Tracy Graham, who stepped down.

The Modern, Clean, and Safe Trucks Act of 2026 was introduced by Sen. Todd Young, R-Ind., and Sen. Angela Alsobrooks, D-Md.. It targets the 12% Federal retail excise tax currently levied on all new heavy trucks, tractors, and trailers.
