IPD has a new water pump and repair kit for the Caterpillar 3500 engine.
It's one of seven new, redesigned and engineered water pumps the company has rolled out this year. It says more are in development.
IPD says its in-house engineering team used advanced 3D scanning and coordinate measurement technologies to create precision pumps with cast iron housings and impellers, corrosion-resistant stainless steel shafts and bronze thrust wasters, a ceramic spring-loaded seal assembly, and Teflon lip-type hydrodynamic oil seals.
Each IPD pump is tested for leakage, pressure and flow.
