Penske Truck Leasing adds Xos Stepvan to electric offerings

Penske Truck Leasing added Xos battery electric trucks to its fleet. 

"We are very pleased to build on our growing portfolio of all-electric vehicles with the addition of the Xos Stepvan," says Paul Rosa, senior vice president of procurement and fleet planning for Penske Truck Leasing.

The Xos Stepvan is a battery electric Class 6 truck that can travel up to 150 miles on a single charge, Xos says. It features a GVWR of up to 23,000 pounds and comes in 16- and 18-foot body sizes. Depending on charger applications, the fast-charging times range from 110-120 minutes. The Xos Stepvan has a 178-inch wheelbase, 347 kW maximum horsepower and a max torque of 1,737 ft-lbs.
