The Sept. 9 event raised more than $250,000 and has raised more than $9 million since the race started in 2001.
This year, more than 95 drivers got behind the wheel of Formula One-style race carts on a quarter-mile outdoor track through Mashpee Commons. For the third year in a row, the car driven by Mashpee police and fire, donated by Advantage Truck Group and Robert B. Our, won.
