Michael Callison, president and CEO of Midwest Wheel Companies, promised a Texas-sized surprise to end Heavy-Duty Aftermarket Week 2024.
“When we said a Texas-sized surprise, we weren’t joking,” the co-chair of the event says. “Our industry deserves to be celebrated at one of the best venues in the country and we’re excited to offer this new experience to all our attendees.”
This year, HDAW will end the week at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, for Wednesday Night Lights on Jan. 25, a once-in-a-lifetime celebration with music, food, drinks and more.
More than 1,000 people have already registered for the Jan. 24 event, according to organizers. Tickets are $55 if purchased before the show and $125 on-site. All participants must show their HDAW ’24 badge to enter.

“It promises to be a fantastic night, from entering the stadium like a player to the punt, pass and kick activities on the stadium floor,” says co-chair Nicole Oreskovic, vice president of sales and marketing at Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems. “I can’t wait to be a part of the excitement.”
Buses will take attendees from the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine to the stadium in Arlington. There, they will be treated to a buffet dinner, open bar, and a variety of games, including a punt-pass-kick contest, a mechanical bull, cornhole and oversized beer pong.
AT&T Stadium, opened in 2009, is a retractable-roof stadium in Arlington, Texas, that cost more than $1.3 billion to build. It holds 80,000 fans and, in addition to the Cowboys, hosts the Cotton Bowl, concerts and other events in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Tying in with the football theme, NFL Hall of Famer Cris Carter will be the keynote speaker this year. He aims to inspire HDAW attendees to be better leaders, ready to drive change and overcome adversity.
“I’m pretty excited about our keynote speaker,” Oreskovic says. “He is not only a standout OSU Buckeye and an NFL Hall of Famer, but he has so much insight to share about equipping yourself for success.”
The co-chairs stress that HDAW organizers listened to attendee feedback from previous years, such as more outings to explore the Dallas-Fort Worth area and more time for networking.
“You can learn so much from your peers and industry experts,” Oreskovic says. “I always enjoy networking and relationship-building at this event. Making strong connections is essential and HDAW ’24 is a great way to solidify existing relationships and forge new ones on the exhibit floor and in the evenings.”
