Kenworth Sales Company forms board of directors

Kenworth Sales Company, winner of the 2025 Kenworth Dealer of the Year for the United States and Canada, has announced the formal establishment of its new board of directors.

Dealer Principal Kyle Treadway will continue as chair, and be joined by a panel of independent directors drawn from the industry: C Daniel Clark; Adam Lawyer; Bob G. Sant; and Molly MacKay Zacker.

Kenworth Sales Company states this move marks a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth and long‑term strategic planning. The board will provide expanded governance, oversight, and leadership as the organization advances its mission to deliver industry‑leading truck sales, service, and customer support across the Mid-Atlantic and Mountain West regions.

The formation of the board reflects Kenworth Sales Company’s commitment to responsible stewardship, enhanced operational performance, and thoughtful succession planning. This formal board succeeds the company’s longstanding family board of directors, which has provided guidance and stewardship for more than 25 years. The company states board will play a central role in supporting executive management, ensuring alignment with company values and guiding strategic initiatives that reinforce the company’s longstanding reputation for superior service and customer trust.

“Our board of directors represents a significant step forward in preparing for the next generation of growth,” says Treadway. “Each board member brings valuable insight and experience that will help us elevate the customer experience while expanding our capabilities as an industry leader.”

The newly formed board is composed of accomplished leaders whose backgrounds span transportation, finance, operations, data analytics and organizational development. Each member brings deep expertise that will contribute to the company’s ongoing success.

Kyle Treadway (chair): Treadway is a third‑generation shareholder and serves as dealer principal of Kenworth Sales Company. He joined the family firm as Legal Counsel in 1987, and became president in 2000. Treadway earned his J.D. from the University of Utah. He also holds BA and MA degrees from Stanford University.

Molly Mackay Zacker: Zacker is vice president of operations at MacKay & Company, a Chicago‑based firm founded  in 1968. She brings decades of experience in industry research, operational leadership, client engagement, and executive‑level reporting.  She is a frequent speaker and presenter within the medium and heavy duty aftermarket. Zacker holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business management from Goucher College and an MA in Early Childhood Education from Western Michigan University.

Adam Lawyer: Lawyer serves as chief investment officer for Sewell Automotive Companies, where he oversees strategic investment and financial planning initiatives. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and previously spent 20 years as a Partner with FORVIS Mazars (formerly DHG) Dealership Group advising dealership organizations on financial strategy A recognized speaker, educator, and industry expert, Lawyer holds both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Texas Tech University.

C. Daniel Clark: Clark recently retired as head of Vehicle & Equipment Finance at Bank of Montreal (BMO), where his responsibilities included Transportation / Equipment Finance and Auto Dealer Inventory Lending.  With more than four decades of leadership experience as a transportation finance executive, his career includes serving as President of GE Capital Transportation Finance, Managing Director at Citi Capital Transportation Finance, and Executive Vice President at Associates Commercial. Clark holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Illinois University.

Bob G. Sant: Sant is the corporate human resources director for Kenworth Sales Company, where he has served for 24 years. He previously worked 16 years in Operations, Safety and HR for CH Dredge Company. He holds a BA from Weber State University.
