Betts HD is featuring its new DirectFlex TMF-RS trailer mud flap hangers at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2017 in Las Vegas.
Betts HD says its TMF-RS hangers are designed to neutralize service requirements for customers in circumstances when a mud flap has been damaged or removed while in use. Built using flexible steel, the spring-loaded hangers are designed with a natural give to withstand and respond to moderate pressure. In cases where additional pressure is applied, the bracket that attaches to a trailer’s suspension slider box bends but does not damage the slider box.
This allows end users to quickly remove and replace the hanger using simple tools in just a matter of minutes. Betts HD says the hanger is currently available for Hendrickson 40K slider box, and the company is considering adding lines for additional slider boxes based on customer demand.
