Lund International purchasing RoadWorks Manufacturing

Lund International, a portfolio company of Highlander Partners, L.P., announced Thursday it has acquired substantially all of the assets of RoadWorks Manufacturing, Inc.

RoadWorks, headquartered in Lafayette, Ind., is a manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket accessories to the heavy-duty truck market.

Operations will continue to be conducted from RoadWorks’ existing facility in Lafayette, Ind., and its employees will join the Lund International team.

“We believe that Lund is a perfect fit for our business and look forward to contributing to its continued success,” says Susan Linson, RoadWorks’ owner and CEO. “Lund’s broad reach into the major automotive markets, including its current presence in the heavy-duty truck segment, will help to enhance RoadWorks’ position in the marketplace and presents us with access to significant new channels for growth.”

Mitch Fogle, president and CEO of Lund International, adds, “We believe the addition of RoadWorks is highly strategic and complementary to Lund’s existing heavy-duty truck product offerings. The acquisition will enhance Lund’s breadth in the heavy-duty truck category, adding a strong brand alongside Lund’s existing Belmor product offering. We are excited to work with the Roadworks team to continue growing the business.”

Regions Business Capital, as Administrative Agent, along with a syndicate of participating lenders, provided senior financing. Fifth Third Securities, Inc. acted as exclusive financial advisor to RoadWorks Manufacturing, Inc. on its sale to Lund International, the company says.
