Purkeys will host an online seminar to train technicians on how to choose the best charging system for a specific application, the company announced Thursday.
Ryan Masco, Purkeys OEM sales representative, will present the webinar, which is scheduled for 12 p.m. CDT on March 30.
“The importance of properly selecting a liftgate charging system cannot be overstated,” Masco says.
According to Purkeys, a customer choosing the most efficient liftgate charging system can more efficiently overcome problems inherent to traditional charging methods, such as voltage drop, premature failures, or poor battery life.
On new trailers, liftgate charging systems do not always meet the specific needs of a customer, and adjustments may be necessary to ensure batteries are always at a good state of charge. Purkeys sales representatives are trained to assist in the process of selecting the appropriate liftgate charging system.
