Minimizer updates online distributor training portal

Minimizer has introduced a new microsite for distributor sales representatives to help them sell Minimizer products.

Minimizer says the new microsite replaces the large boxes of literature sales people used to carry in their vehicles on have on hand at their counters. With the company’s microsite, distributors now have all of the up-to-date information they need to sell Minimizer right at their fingertips.

“I’ve personally been on ride alongs with hundreds of outside salespeople throughout North America and I’ve seen firsthand the difficult job they have to keep product information on multiple product lines,” says Minimizer Director of Marketing Steve Hansen. “Nowadays, they all carry a smart phone or tablet.  We’ve created an incredibly useful microsite and it’s getting rave reviews.”

Minimizer showcased the site last weekend to 175 distributor salespeople at the recent GenNext/CVSN Distributor Training Expo in Atlanta. Some distributors were already using the site and raved about the usefulness while others were hearing about this tool for the first time.

“I had several distributor salespeople tell me how great this tool is,” says Jason Johnson, Minimizer training manager. “Our team here at Minimizer uses the resource all the time.”

On the site, distributors find all of Minimizer’s product literature.  With one click, they are able to e-mail that literature to their customer, too. For example, when a customer is interested in Minimizer’s new truck seat, it takes less than 10 seconds to send that customer the most current product flyer, the company says.

The same goes for product videos. Minimizer says it has product videos and testimonial videos on nearly every product type. Distributors can send those videos to their customer with just a couple clicks on their smart phone. There’s also a section on FAQ’s, as well as a resource for retrieving all of Minimizer’s high-resolution photos and product descriptions, the company says.
