Midwest Wheel makes donation to hurricane relief

In the weeks since Hurricane Harvey first hit the Texas coast, the southeastern U.S. mainland, Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands have suffered partial or total devastation.

During this period of damage, Midwest Wheel Companies hosted its 39th annual golf tournament. This event hosts an average of 200 people each year. Due to the devastation that has taken place this month, Midwest Wheel asked each golfer to donate what they could; promising to match the donations made.

Between Midwest Wheel employees and the vendors in attendance $1,562 was raised. Midwest Wheel will be matching it for a grand donation of $3,124. All proceeds will be sent to All Hands Volunteers. The organizations motto is, “Rebuilding Hope.”

Something that so badly needs done at this time, Midwest Wheel says. All hands is taking 100 percent of the donations made and using them to help those impacted by Irma and Harvey. Midwest Wheel thanks all of its attendees for their generous donations.
