AxleTech adds to its line of aftermarket air disc brake (ADB) pad kits for on-highway vehicles.
The company now offers an ADB pad kit designed to fit the WABCO MAXXUS 22 caliper, a common brake caliper used on many Freightliner and other heavy-duty trucks. The newest ADB pad kit features the AxleTech AT215 formula. AxleTech says the AT215 is a premium grade friction material, designed for superior braking performance with exceptional wear characteristics and durability. This material is FMVSS-compliant at up to 29K Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR), the company says.
AxleTech offers a full range of ADB pad kits for coach, transit, and on-highway applications, including Meritor EX225, Meritor DX series, Bendix ADB22X, WABCO PAN series, Haldex DB 22 and 22LT, Knorr SN7, among others.
Additionally, AxleTech says it is exhibiting at booth #1221 this week at Heavy-Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) in Las Vegas.
