Seidel Diesel Group stresses 4DX concept at annual meeting

Sdg Mgr Meeting 3The Seidel Diesel Group (SDG) gathered management from its Bolingbrook staff and branch managers from Midwest Fuel Injection (Illinois, Iowa), Metro Fuel Injection (Connecticut, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania), International Fuel Injection (Florida), Pacific Fuel Injection (Oregon) and Action Truck Parts (Illinois) last weekend in Chicago, according to an announcement.

The two-and-a-half-day event allowed SDG to review business results, recognize significant achievements, share new strategies for goal setting and provide a great opportunity for relationship building. President Paul Thoms notes, “Corporate sales as a group were up 7.8 percent since the last managers meeting, held in April 2017.”

Thoms led the rollout of The 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX) to the branch managers during the annual meeting. 4DX is FranklinCovey’s approach to achieving business-critical goals, and SDG incorporated this approach into its strategic goal setting initiatives more than seven months ago.

“We have had significant success illustrated by quantifiable cost saving and revenue generating results by bringing 4DX into our culture in Bolingbrook. We were very excited to show our branch managers how to integrate this at their locations,” Thoms says. “Our branch managers left the meeting with a sense of enthusiasm as they look forward to implementing 4DX to help achieve their goals.”
