PAI Industries announced Thursday with the growth of its manufacturing and assembly departments and product coverage that it will add a more than 90,000 sq.-ft. state-of-the-art facility at its corporate campus in Suwanee, Ga.
PAI Industries says the building will be powered by renewable solar energy and the company will deploy automated robotic packaging systems. Approximately 100 new and current PAI employees will move to the new building. This will allow the company’s other 200 employees to make way for new equipment in the company’s manufacturing plant, assembly department and dyno engine test center. The move also will allow the company to increase inventory in the company’s main warehouse and increase the number of products available for same-day shipment.
In the past decade, PAI has grown from one main building for office and warehouse to four buildings — the new facility will be number five. PAI also has facilities in Charlotte, N.C.; Jurupa Valley, Calif.; Toronto, Canada; and Shanghai, China. The remote facilities combined occupy more than 700,000 sq. ft.
