The Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) recently installed three new directors to its board at its Aftermarket Distribution Summit in Braselton, Ga.
In an effort to properly serve the needs of the aftermarket, keep the lines of communication open and get valuable input and feedback between the CVSN members and their supplier partners, CVSN says its board of directors fully represents the industry with 11 distributor representatives from all industry affiliations including important committee chairmen and two supplier representatives.
This year two new distributor directors and one supplier director were installed. The new distributor directors installed are Mark Sumka, Fleet Brake Parts and Service; and Mike Callison Jr., Midwest Wheel Companies. The new supplier director is Mark Owen of Haldex.
“As a heavy-duty association CVSN is proud to have these top industry executives on our board of directors and appreciate their input, time commitment and valuable contributions for the betterment of our industry,” says Angelo Volpe, executive vice president of CVSN. “All independent distributor companies should be members of industry associations so their important issues can be addressed and their voices heard.”
