Heavy Duty Market Academy President Gene Ely has released his second online academic tutorial.
This month’s lesson addresses “freerunning,” and how all often heavy-duty aftermarket marketing strategies fall more into the realm of “containment.” Ely says the urban sport of freerunning is about being unrestrained from containment, avoiding boxes and traditions to design something new and unique. He says the concept can be incredibly valuable in today’s aftermarket.
“The traditional attitudes of ‘containment’ seem stronger than ever, ” he says. “Our customers are looking for something fresh, a new type of expressive communications that engage and attract them.”
