
The following employment changes were announced to the trucking industry last week (Nov. 4-Nov. 10, 2019).
- Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS) Canada Corporation has appointed James Ryan president and CEO. He will lead the Canadian divisions of MBFS and Daimler Truck Financial.
- Meritor has appointed Steven Beringhause, chief technology officer at Sensata Technologies, as a Class II director with a term expiring at the 2020 annual meeting of shareholders. His appointment is effective on Dec. 1, 2019.
- Bob Nuss, president, Nuss Truck & Equipment, was honored by the U.S. Department of Labor with the 2019 HIRE Vets Medallion Award for his dealership’s commitment to hiring veterans.
- Peach State Truck Centers has named Rhonda Gauthreax marketing director.
- Spartan Motors has appointed Andrew Anderson chief information officer.
- Thomas Built Buses has named Jed Routh vice president of sales, service and marketing.
- Timken has named Mike Wamsley of N.A. Williams as its 2019 Representative of the year and Glazier Sales Associates as its 2019 Manufacturers Representative Agency of the Year.
