JohnDow Industries releases trio of new fluid management products

John Dow fuel tank-min

JohnDow Industries has made another large expansion to its line of fuel handling equipment, introducing two new 30-gallon steel diesel caddies, a 15-gallon portable fuel station and a foot pump for low-profile oil drains.

Regarding the diesel caddies, JohnDow says the two new caddies are available with a manual (FC-P30-UL-D) or air operated (FC-P30A-UL-D) pump. Designed with the professional technician in mind, these cart-style caddies are compact and easy to move. The company says both have been tested, certified and listed by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and built to meet stringent OSHA standards for safe, effective and affordable diesel fuel dispensing, transporting and storage.

“JohnDow is the leader in the manufacturing of fuel handling products and as such we welcome the responsibility of continuing to develop new products and improving existing products to provide safety and convenience for our professional technician partners. We are very excited about these two new diesel caddies,” says Robert Christy, JohnDow’s vice president, sales and marketing.

The company’s new 15-gallon portable fuel station (JDI-FST15) is UN/DOT approved for the transport of gasoline by motor vehicle and to gravity dispense fuel into gas powered portable equipment, vehicle fuel tanks or other approved containers. The company says the tank has been vigorously tested for leakage, rupture, stability, abuse and endurance. It features a 10 ft. dispensing hose, built-in shutoff valve and a ground wire for safety. Its gross weight is 116 lb. when filled.

“We are very excited about the huge potential that our new fuel station represents,” says Brian Morgan, national sales manager, JohnDow. “It will open up numerous new markets for our fuel handling product line and increase our customer base in a big way.”

Finally, JohnDow states its new foot pump (JDI-FP1) is ideal for transferring used oil and other non-flammable fluids in the shop from low-profile drains into a waste oil containment system. The company says the pump has a 6 ft. suction hose that is 1 in. in diameter and an 8 ft. discharge hose with a J hook.
