The following employment changes were announced to the trucking industry last week (March 9-March 15, 2020).

  • Bridgestone Americas recently announced leadership changes, which will take effect March 16, 2020: Riccardo Cichi, currently chief sales officer for Bridgestone Europe, Middle East, India, & Africa, has been named president and chief sales officer North America; Chris Ripani, currently president of GCR Tires & Service, has been appointed to the expanded role of president, truck, bus and retread tires and GCR; Eric Higgs, currently president of truck, bus and retread tires, has been named senior vice president, marketing operations; Brian Goldstine, senior vice president, fleet management solutions for the commercial tire business, will take on the expanded role of president, mobility solutions and fleet management for Bridgestone Americas; and Craig Schneider, currently president, diversified businesses, will take on an expanded role as president, enterprise strategy, corporate development and diversified businesses.
  • Minimizer has hired Tony Henningson as chief financial officer.
  • Karmak has appointed Jim Allen, formerly vice president, client success, to the role of chief operating officer. The company also has appointed Jim Cowan, formerly director, product management, to vice president, business solutions; and promoted Beth Baker to director, product management, reporting to Cowan.
  • Tenneco has appointed Roy Armes to its board of directors. Director Roger Porter has announced he will not stand for reelection at the company’s 2020 annual meeting.
  • Radu Pop, business development manager, Stertil-Koni, has been named chairman of a new Technology and Maintenance Council task force, the Technology & Engineering Policy Committee.
  • Bryan Bellows has joined Engs Commercial Finance as a business development manager in the company’s Transportation Finance Division.
  • Jeff Spence has been promoted to vice president, M&K NationaLease.
  • John Walsh, Mack Trucks vice president of marketing, was named to Constellation Research’s 2020 AX50, a list of leaders from companies focused on innovation and transforming customer experiences. Mack and Walsh were recognized for the truck manufacturer’s work in customer experience and digital marketing.
