Pilot Company opened two new locations in California and Texas and finished more than 80 store remodels as part of its $1 billion New Horizons initiative. By the end of this year, it hopes to open more than a dozen new travel centers, add more than 20 dealer locations and remodel 30 more stores.

"We're strategically building out and renovating our network with forward-thinking designs and offerings to bring a consistently best-in-class experience to the road for all drivers," says Allison Cornish, senior vice president of store modernization and development. "Every upgrade or new addition is made with our guests and team members in mind."
The new locations are in Odessa, Texas, and Rialto, California.
Pilot's Texas location boasts 16 gasoline fuel positions and six diesel lanes with biofuel, DEF and high-speed pumps; fresh-made pizza, homestyle meals and grab-and-go food prepared on site daily; premium coffees; brand-name products, electronics, gifts and more; 39 parking spots; four showers; public laundry; and full-service and self-checkouts.
In California. the new location has 14 gasoline fuel positions and eight diesel lanes with biofuel, DEF and high-speed pumps; fresh-made pizza, homestyle meals and grab-and-go food prepared on site daily; premium coffees; an Arby's restaurant with drive-through; a Cinnabon restaurant; a selection of brand-name products, electronics, gifts and gear; 91 truck parking spaces; seven showers; a lounge for professional drivers; a CAT scale; public laundry; and full-service and self-checkouts.
To celebrate the new locations, Pilot gave a total of $30,000 to local schools. It hosted a grand opening in California on May 19 that included an after-party for professional drivers with free pizza, massage chairs in the drivers' lounge and prizes.
