Total Truck Parts will hold a grand opening for its new Port St. Lucie, Florida, store on July 19.
The 50,000-square-foot parts and service facility represents a 300% increase in capacity for the Treasure Coast market says Marc Karon, president of Total Truck Parts. The new shop has 16 bays, a hydraulic shop to rebuild cylinders and pumps, a driveline shop and room for expanding shop services. Karon adds that the shop will soon have full alignment capability, DPF cleaning and fabrication.
The showroom in Port St. Lucie is 5,000 square feet with 26,000 square feet of parts storage for the $1 million in parts stock. That expanded storage space will allow the company to free up space for storage and redistribution at Total's other five branches.
The Port St. Lucie facility was built to the highest hurricane standards, Karon says, with a backup power solution.
"This strong building strategy proved its importance last year, when Hurricane Ian ravaged the west coast of Florida, but our Fort Myers facility was able to reopen with auxiliary power as soon as the danger had passed, and we had virtually no damage," Karon says. "Customers can depend on us after the storm has passed, and we can participate in the recovery efforts in our communities,"
