Buckeye Dealership Consulting has rebranded as Buckeye Risk Services, a move the company says signals the company's evolution from a consulting firm to a full-spectrum risk assessment firm coupled with customized solutions.
"This new name better reflects who we are and where we're headed," says Rob Fox, CEO. "We've outgrown the consulting label. Today, we're helping clients across automotive, fleet and financial markets account for risk, grow revenue and build long-term wealth."
In 2023, the company acquired Berkshire Risk Services, a partner and provider of insurance and collateral protection insurance (CPI) solutions for buy-here, pay-here (BHPH) dealers and other automotive, trucking and equipment financiers.
It acquired Truck Master Warranty in 2020, expanding Buckeye's offerings into commercial vehicle service contracts for truck dealerships and fleet operators, and, in the same year, acquired Specialty Administrative Services (SAS), a third-party administrator with experience in claims management, compliance and warranty processing.
"These strategic acquisitions strengthened our ability to support clients with turnkey F&I programs and customizable reinsurance models," Fox says. "It's about meeting our customers where they are and guiding them forward, with the legal, operational and financial support to scale effectively."
Buckeye was founded as a reinsurance consultancy for independent automobile dealers and now supports franchise and independent dealers, subprime lenders and fleet-focused businesses.
The company is investing in infrastructure, automation and digital transformation to improve client service and scalability, it says to position for expansion, potential acquisitions and strategic partnerships in the next year.
"While the name has changed, our mission hasn't," says Fox. "We're here to help our clients win — with better tools, better support and a brand that reflects the strength of everything we've built."
