
Emergency vehicle upfitter Lehr opened a new, 40,000-square-foot facility in Nashville under the Truckers Lighthouse brand, the company announced Tuesday.
"We are excited to significantly expand our Nashville operations with this state-of-the-art faciilty," says Daniel Hamm, CEO of Lehr. "This investment demonstrates our commitment to serving our Tennessee customers with enhanced capacity and capabilities. Truckers Lighthouse is pioneering a new approach to vehicle upfitting that will deliver faster turnaround times, improved quality control and the superior craftsmanship that first responders that first responders depend on to keep their communities safe."

The facility opened Monday and features three acres of parking and an installation floor designed specifically for lean manufacturing processes. With the opening of the facility, Lehr says it will double its workforce, including technicians and sales staff.

A grand opening celebration is set for early next year.
