
Freight Transportation Research (FTR) opened early bird registration for its 2026 FTR Transportation Conference, Aug. 31-Sept. 3 in Indianapolis.
The event offers three tracks for attendees — truck, freight and rail. The truck track will feature equipment on Aug. 31 and freight on Sept. 1. For freight, truck freight will be Sept. 1 and rail freight Sept. 2. The rail track starts with rail freight Sept. 2 and rail equipment Sept. 3.

It will feature economists, analysts and networking with decision makers in trucking, rail, intermodal and supply chain sectors. Speakers include Brian Smalley, executive vice president of marketing and sales for National Steel Car Limited; Chris Visser, director of specialty vehicles for J.D. Power; Thom Walstrum, senior business economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago; Thom Albrecht, chief revenue officer of Reliance Partners and more.
