NationaLease HR summit focuses on retention and management strategies

NationaLease recently held a human resources summit in Chicago. The meeting focused on employment law, mental health in the workplace, recruiting practices and other human resources matters.

Speakers at the two-day session included Susan Scott, director of human resources at Hub Truck NationaLease; Dean Vicha, president of NationaLease; Erin McKown, director of corporate development and training services at National EAP; Tiffany Rotondo, director of human resources at Jel Sert; Jane Clark, senior vice president of operations at NationaLease; Stephanie Klein, executive coach at Mindfire Mastery; Tracy Levine, executive director of the Naomi Cohen Institute for Mental Health Education at The Chicago School; Candace D. Washington, founder and CEO of Pivotal Impact; and Neil Dishman, principal at Jackson Lewis P.C.

"Human resources is facing dynamic changes, particularly within the transportation industry, and coming together is the best way for our members to keep up with the latest policies and practices," Vicha says. "By sharing common problems, they have the chance to hear how their peers are finding creative ways to address their HR challenges. Next year's NationaLease Human Resources Summit will be July 12-13 in Dallas.
