Love's Travel Stops is expanding its footprint in Texas, with the opening of a new travel stop in Premont located at 511 NE 8th Street (U.S. Route 281).

The new travel stop has 59 truck parking spaces and provides free parking for Love’s customers, helping to address the national truck parking shortage. The facility also has five diesel bays, four RV hookups and a CAT scale.

Located along US 281, between Love’s Three Rivers and Edinburg locations, the new travel stop in Premont provides a much-needed stop for professional drivers, RVers and motorists navigating South Texas. This expansion directly supports regional trade and the national supply chain by adding essential truck parking and fueling capacity along a heavy freight corridor where reliable, clean amenities are vital for driver safety and transport efficiency, the company says.

According to RigDig (owned by Fusable, parent company of TPS), there are 32,924 prospects operating more than 77,000 verified vehicles and 43,000 verified trailers within a 50-mile radius of location.

In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $2,500 to the Premont Fire Department, $2,500 to Premont Collegiate High School and $5,000 to Driscoll Children’s Hospital. Additionally, Love’s district managers work with eligible nonprofits in their area to make donations through community grants on an annual basis.

Love’s also modernizing several stores across U.S.

Under Love’s Road Ahead Plan, the company also recently completed the remodels of its locations in Waco, Ga.; Lordsburg, N.M.; Greenville, Ill.; Conneaut, Ohio; Walters, Okla.; and Baxter, Tenn. Guests can now experience updated environments designed to improve traffic flow and elevate the overall shopping experience, the company says.

In honor of the remodels, Love’s says it donated a total of $30,000 to the local Children Miracle Network hospitals that serve each community.
