Gordon Truck Centers has acquired Western Idaho Freightliner and Western Star of Nampa, Idaho.

With the addition of the Nampa store, GTC now operates fourteen stores across Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Hawaii doing business as Freightliner Northwest, Western Star Northwest and Freightliner of Hawaii.  Twelve of GTC’s Fourteen stores are dual branded as Freightliner and Western Star Northwest.

The Nampa location will do business as Freightliner Northwest, the company says.

“We are extremely excited to welcome the team from Western Idaho Freightliner and Western Star to the Gordon Truck Centers Dealer Group,” says Scott Gordon, president, GTC.  “Adding the Boise market is a natural fit and expands our service coverage area east on I-84 into the greater Boise area.  We want to congratulate and thank Don Schow and the Schow’s team for entrusting GTC to continue to build on their legacy of serving commercial truck customers in the great state of Idaho.”

Adds Schow, president of Schow’s Truck Centers, “We thank the employees and staff at Western Idaho Freightliner who have been exceptional. We also thank our valuable customers that we have been able to serve. Schow’s Western Star will continue to operate its dealership locations in Heyburn and Idaho Falls, Idaho.  We wish Gordon Truck Centers success and are certain they will continue the outstanding customer experience our customers have enjoyed throughout the years.”
