Crook Motor Company has partnered with Excel Truck Group to further expand its new truck sales, parts, and service business by becoming a full-line Freightliner dealership. The news was first announced last month.
Crook Motor Company President Richard Almond announced Excel Truck Group became an equity partner of the business effective April 2021.
“We’re looking forward to continuing our strong legacy of great service,” Almond says. “Through this partnership, we will provide our loyal customers with the outstanding service they have come to expect, and we will offer a broader array of trucks and parts”.
Crook Motor Company was founded in 1945 and has grown into one of the nation’s largest used truck and trailer dealers, as well as an outstanding Western Star dealer.
“We have always maintained our focus on what is most important, the people in this industry — our customers and our employees. Our outstanding employees enable us to take great care of our customers,” says Almond.
Excel Truck Group was started by Frank Ellett in 1981 and has Freightliner, Mack, Western Star, Kalmar Wabash National, Mac Trailer, and other franchises operating in 10 locations in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
