Parts for Trucks logoParts for Trucks sent shockwaves through the Canadian aftermarket Wednesday, acquiring Fleet Brake Parts and Service.

The deal expands Parts for Trucks into a national distribution operation in Canada, doubling its network to 32 parts warehouse and 15 service locations coast to coast.

"We're really excited to bring these two great companies together,” says Luke MacKenzie, Parts for Trucks president. “We think it will bring significant benefits to our employees, our customers, and our vendor partners.”

Except for the Atlantic region, all prior Fleet Brake locations will keep the Fleet Brake banner. Fleet Brake President Tim Douglas says the acquisition is the right fit for Fleet Brake's history.

“Fleet Brake has been a family company since its inception in 1978. With the Parts for Trucks acquisition we have found a great home,” he says.

SeaFort Capital President Rob Normandeau adds, “Parts for Trucks - Fleet Brake is ideally positioned to maintain the legacy of two longstanding family-owned Canadian companies. We are proud to be partnered with Luke and his team as they integrate these remarkable businesses and pursue further growth.”
