Floyd's Truck Center announced Thursday it acquired Nebraska Truck Center, a central Nebraska Freightliner and Western Star dealership.

"This acquisition creates exciting opportunities for both Floyd's customers and those of Nebraska Truck Center," says Michael Gillam, vice president of sales at Floyd's. "By integrating NTC into our network, we're extending our reach and continuing to provide the dependable support our customers rely on."

Nebraska Truck Center was founded by the Brown family in 1969. It has locations in Hastings, North Platte and Grand Island.

"The talented employees at NTC have built strong relationships with their customers, and we're thrilled they'll remain part of our organization," Gillam says. "Together, we'll continue delivering the same trusted service with enhanced capabilities."

The acquisition means Floyd's now serves more than 600 miles of Interstate 80, from Rock Springs, Wyo., to Grand Island, Neb.
