Diesel Laptops, founded in 2015, is based in Irmo, S.C., and specializes in diagnostics, repair information and digital solutions for trucks and off-highway vehicles. Snap-on says the acquisition strengthens the company's capabilities and its library of proprietary experience-based data. Diesel Laptops will be part of the company's Repair Systems and Information Group.

Diesel Laptops recently launched a new series of diagnostic solutions, the Master Series. It features Truck Master, Equipment Master and Truck & Equipment Master. All are designed to connect diagnostics with repair information, parts lookup, technical support and training.

Last year, Snap-on released the PRO-LINK+ diagnostic tool that combined hardware and software for a code-based diagnostic and repair platform for all makes of trucks. It delivers code descriptions with step-by-step troubleshooting routines, testing procedures, component and connector photos, fault-specific wiring diagrams, specifications, and remove and install instructions.
