03 02 17 uta 300x200The Used Truck Association’s (UTA) “Selling for Success” training seminar will kick off its 2017 year with a two-day course in Atlanta later this month.

Scheduled for March 12-14, 2017, at the Courtyard Atlanta Airport West in East Point, Ga., UTA says Selling for Success is a must take course to put new or inexperience sales associates on the path to success. The course is led by George Papp, and also features occasional special guest speakers and major sponsors such as Eaton, Cummins, NTP and Second City Leasing.

“Designed to implement a sound daily activity routine that will meet the demands of your dealership, Selling for Success will teach your associates the fundamentals of selling plus they will be given additional tools needed to be successful in our industry,” UTA says. “Participants will learn the difference between a sales job and a sales career.”

UTA also says Selling for Success will teach associates how to prepare for the sales day, prospect for success, control the sales call and overcome objections.

Cost is $495 for UTA members, ($595 for non-members, which includes a single year of UTA membership) and includes the two-day training seminar, lunch for both seminar days, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on Monday evening and all course materials.

In addition to this month’s course, Selling for Success also will be held June 11-13 in Fontana, Calif., and September 17-19 in Chicago.
