North Jersey Truck Center debuts revolutionary retail store

North Jersey Truck Center has opened a new 10,000 sq. ft. retail parts store built around a comprehensive customer-centric strategy.

Three times larger than its previous location, the Freightliner, Sprinter and Fuso dealer’s new facility is designed to guide a customer through its shopping experience.

The facility has a front door greeter to welcome customers and point them in the direction of their needs, queuing software that allows customers to submit their name at the parts counter and then casually shop the store while waiting for their turn at the desk. Customers can then view their place in line on screens throughout the facility, and are alerted via text message and on the screens when they’ve reached the top of the line.

Additionally, North Jersey says the facility has a service counter where customers can remove pulleys off alternators, program computers, and in the near future, make hydraulic hoses while waiting. North Jersey says it also is featuring a new cashiering process where customers can order their parts on the phone, pay for via internet/text and pick up and be back on the road very quickly. DTNA‘s Pinnacle Truck Parts program also allows customers to see the facilities’ inventory, order parts and have them delivered with just a click of a button.

The location features eight counter professionals.

“We continue to have customers walking in and stopping at the front door with the ‘WOW LOOK’ and saying this is amazing,” the company says.
