Karmak announced Wednesday that more than 60 clients are now running Fusion Lease/Rental at over 140 locations.
The Lease/Rental module of Karmak’s flagship Windows-based product, Fusion, premiered in 2013, and in 2016, 37,000 units were managed on Karmak Fusion.
“As our Lease & Rental Fleet Management software matures, we’re finding more and more demand for it in our marketspace. As a result, we’re quickly and actively evolving our product and are excited for what the future holds,” says Adam Madsen, vice president of Development for Karmak.
Part of Karmak’s focus on lease/rental was bringing Allison Laing on board as Karmak’s Lease/Rental Product Advisor. Laing’s in-depth experience in the leasing and rental world has already helped to shape the direction of the product, Karmak says.
“I’m excited about the progress we’ve already made with Fusion Lease/Rental. I’m looking forward to what the future holds and continuing to work with our lease/rental clients and vendor partners to continue to evolve our product,” says Laing.
Karmak says product focus for 2017 ranges from substitutions to reservations, and emphasizes enhancements to insurance, Unit P&L, and lease/rental analytics.
