DTNA selected CMP as one of its elite suppliers to achieve the Masters of Quality Award for 2016, the highest recognition the truck makers gives to its suppliers. DTNA says it recognizes manufacturers from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico who meet or exceed the company’s stringent quality, delivery, cost, and technology requirements and expectations, and who demonstrate an ongoing commitment to improving the quality of their products. This is the 14th time CMP has been recognized by Daimler.
CMP Pratsa, S.A. de C.V., CMP’s joint venture in Mexico, also was also honored with the Masters of Quality Award for 2016 by Daimler.
Additionally, CMP also met Paccar’s expectations that supplier parts and components achieve 10 PPM or better quality. In the notification of the 2016 quality achievement recognition, Paccar says, “We appreciate the quality products and services you provide Paccar. We look forward to our ongoing relationship as we continue to deliver the highest quality products to our customers.”
This is the second time CMP has been recognized by Paccar for delivering quality products to the truck maker, but previously had been recognized for 50 PPM, the company says.
“As a family-owned business we are dedicated to meeting the needs of our customers. We pride ourselves on the care we take during the manufacturing process to ensure our products are of the highest quality. We are honored to receive recognition from these two major truck OEMs that our products meet their high standards,” says John Bernloehr, president of CMP.
