Updated Oct 18, 2017

Phillips & Temro Industries have announced the strategic acquisition of Wolverine Engine Heaters, provider of heaters for industrial hydraulic systems, commercial and personal vehicles and other markets.

PTI and Wolverine have enjoyed a mutually beneficial distribution agreement for the past four years, the companies said. This transaction represents a unique and significant opportunity to combine the strengths of both organizations and drive their advantages in the global markets in which they serve.

Based in Yakima, Wash., Wolverine Heaters provides heating products for a wide range of applications.

“We are excited to welcome Wolverine Heaters to the PTI family. We look forward to continuing to serve trucking, automotive, oil and gas and off-road vehicles and other markets with critical scale and a leading market position in those industries,” says Phillip & Temro Industries’ President Tom Moser.

“Wolverine has a strong management team and an outstanding customer service reputation, and our similar cultures and histories make this acquisition an excellent strategic fit. We look forward to collaborative contributions for ongoing success.”
