Work Truck Solutions names new VP of sales; schedules webinar for Wednesday

Work Truck Solutions announced Monday it has hired Tony Solano as vice president of sales, and says it will hold a webinar later this week to address how changes in the automotive and light-duty trucking sector are likely to impact the commercial trucking industry.

In his new role, Work Truck Solutions says Solano will be responsible for leading in-house sales managers and field representatives in building relationships with dealerships, OEMs, body manufacturers, distributors, and other industry contacts.

“The work truck industry runs on relationships, and we’re going to focus on leveraging the trust we have earned from our over 850 dealers to build even more value for our partners,” says Solano. “As commercial dealerships, or dealerships considering entering the commercial business, see how much value and support our solutions provide, our growth will be exponential.”

Solano joins the company at a time when Work Truck Solutions has been delivering measurable results and introducing new solutions. The company says these include: a simple way for dealerships to manage pricing and incentives for blocks of vehicles at a time; a social media ad management solution; and a new suite of solutions for body manufacturers and distributors, which Work Truck Solutions unveiled in March at the Work Truck Show.

Regarding the upcoming webinar, it is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST Wednesday, June 13, and will feature Schifferle and Marketing Coordinator Claudia Sanchez. The duo will address the current trends in the light-duty industry, what changes are on the horizon, and how your dealership can come out on top.
