Decisiv, Inc., announced Wednesday that 10 million service event cases have now been managed on its SRM platform.
According to Decisiv, SRM drives unrivaled asset performance and utilization for the commercial vehicle, heavy equipment and industrial markets.
The 10 millionth service event case was opened by Bergey’s Truck Centers, a dealer that sells and services Mack and Volvo trucks. Bergey’s has 30 divisions and facilities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Decisiv says the case involved a 2016 Mack CXU613 that arrived at the facility with air leaks. Using ASIST, which is built on the Decisiv SRM platform, Bergey’s was able to perform a quick diagnostic, fix the initial problem, and identify additional issues that could be resolved in the same visit.
Furthermore, Bergey’s used ASIST to speed up the identification of parts needed, for all customer communications, and for internal communications regarding parts availability and parts arrival. By using ASIST to streamline their process, Bergey’s was able to get the truck back on the road in under 24 hours, Decisiv says.
“We’ve been using ASIST for over 10 years because our customers operate in a highly competitive and time-sensitive environment so asset utilization is of the utmost importance,” says Mark Brown, Aftermarket Solutions Manager at Bergey’s Truck Centers. “By fostering communication and collaboration during service events, the ASIST platform plays a key role when we’re working with customers as well as managing the service process. It overcomes obstacles associated with inconsistent communication, allows us to exchange information in real-time with fleet customers throughout a service event, and eliminates discrepancies that cause unnecessary downtime.
“Decisiv is the right partner for Bergey’s because they understood our needs ten years ago and continue to evolve their technology as our needs change. Using the Decisiv platform continues to improve our productivity and reduce customer downtime.”
Decisiv’s growth has been fueled by increased use of its SRM platform in commercial vehicle and off-highway markets. Today, Decisiv says its SRM solution manages service events for over 60 percent of the North American Commercial Vehicle industry.
“Thanks to the transformative work being doing by our longtime partner, Mack-Volvo, increasing numbers of SRM users are realizing how it revolutionizes the way they communicate and collaborate to improve asset uptime,” said Dick Hyatt, president and CEO of Decisiv. “Reaching this milestone is the result of our expanding customer and partner ecosystem, ongoing investment in the platform’s technology and engineering, and in services designed to streamline the entire asset service and repair process.
“We look forward to continuing to grow as we find more solutions that drive improvement in performance and utilization for asset manufacturers, service providers and owners.”
