Work Truck Show expanding educational opportunities in 2019

NTEA – The Association for the Work Truck Industry announced Tuesday it is expanding available educational opportunities during The Work Truck Show 2019 — offering a new option for registrants to attend Green Truck Summit and Fleet Technical Congress sessions.

Both events will be held concurrently from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, at JW Marriott Indianapolis.  The Work Truck Show 2019 runs March 5-8, 2019, at Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. Educational sessions begin March 5, and the exhibit hall is open March 6-8.

NTEA says Green Truck Summit is the industry’s premier alternative fuels and advanced technology conference. It brings together industry leaders to share developments and decisions about the journey toward greater work truck productivity and efficiency. Introduced at The Work Truck Show 2018, Fleet Technical Congress gives fleet managers the opportunity to explore the latest technology solutions while gaining management insights from industry leaders. It’s designed for both established fleet managers and those moving into more senior management roles, NTEA states.

Both events will run on the same schedule with their own opening comments and dedicated keynote speakers followed by general sessions. NTEA says Registrants can easily switch back and forth between the two, based on preferred topic areas, throughout the day. A combined reception will be offered following the last general sessions.

“This is an effort to improve the attendee experience by giving them the chance to customize their schedules and attend whichever sessions interest them the most,” says Doyle Sumrall, NTEA managing director. “With Fleet Technical Congress and Green Truck Summit sessions running concurrently in rooms literally right next to each other, it will be easy for participants to move between sessions and engage in networking opportunities.”

In addition to the full day of general sessions and reception on March 5, registration for Green Truck Summit and Fleet Technical Congress also includes access to concurrent sessions on topics such as fleet productivity, risk mitigation, OEM chassis updates, and more; all three days of Work Truck Show exhibits; Wednesday and Thursday lunch; and access to the Ride-and-Drive on Wednesday and Thursday, NTEA says.

Registration for The Work Truck Show 2019 will open in October, NTEA says.
