Decisiv Inc. has announced an expansion of its integration with Noregon’s in-shop diagnostic and repair solution, JPRO Professional, to improve multi-brand dealer support across its networks of OEM dealers and service providers.
“This expanded integration with JPRO improves support for multi-brand dealers by ensuring consistent diagnostic and repair processes no matter the make,” says Decisiv President and CEO Dick Hyatt. “With the integration available universally, dealer service networks across all OEMs in the Decisiv network will have a more robust solution for communicating and collaborating service information. OEMs will have ready access to more detailed, up-to-date diagnostic and repair information.”
JPRO is an all makes, models and components tool that helps discover the root cause of issues and guide technicians through the repair process.
With the newly expanded integration, JPRO users will have the capability to select or create a case and submit it to the appropriate OEM environment.
Now that multi-brand dealers can use the same processes with all of their vehicles, they can reap the benefits of the cases being created within the corresponding OEM’s environment. This includes warranty, recall campaign, SRT data and enhanced reporting. Creating a process that is consistent for the dealers is key to greater technician efficiency and faster return to service, according to an announcement.
“Due to their strong connections with major OEMs and dealerships, furthering integration with Decisiv meant improving the operations of our joint customers, so it was an obvious decision for us,” says Bill Hathaway, Noregon’s founder and CEO. “We look forward to continuing to build our relationship with Decisiv, given their desire and ability to drive forward the industry.”
“We have already had very positive feedback from Volvo about how the Decisiv integration with JPRO drives efficiencies for their dealers,” says Hyatt. “Other OEM’s branded dealers, including Mack, Peterbilt, Kenworth and Hino can also quickly realize the same benefits.”
