MEMA hires public policy VP

The Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) has hired Bill Frymoyer as its vice president of public policy.

Frymoyer’s responsibilities will include assisting the MEMA government affairs team represent members of its four divisions (Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association, Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association, MERA – The Association for Sustainable Manufacturing and Original Equipment Suppliers Association) in Washington at a critical time for the supplier industry, MEMA says.

Frymoyer comes to MEMA from the law firm Stewart and Stewart, where he served as a senior advisor since 2005. He focused on promoting trade and energy policies to assist the U.S. and global manufacturing sector, enhancing patent and intellectual property protections, assisting clients with NAFTA renegotiation priorities and working on appropriations provisions for clients.
