CIMC announces promotions

CIMC Intermodal Equipment has announced several promotions affecting personnel at both its Emporia, Va., and South Gate, Calif., facilities.

CIMC IE says it has strengthened its supply chain organization with Richard Price, director, supply chain and the promotions of Jamie Phillip to Emporia manager, supply chain and Robert Soltero, supervisor supply chain PDC. All will report directly to Johnny Perez, manager of supply chain and procurement.

At the South Gate facility, John Garcia has been promoted to manager, warranty training and quality control and Eddie Pulido has moved up to senior quality technician. Both report to Mike Murray, director of warranty/training/QC. Additionally, Thuan Lo was promoted to production planning analyst reporting to North Lee.

Emporia promotions include Elbert Parker to manager of safety, asset management and training following the recent move and promotion of Jose Perez to production manager. Parker will report directly to German Hernandez, director of safety and security.
