K. Neal Truck holds successful safety seminar

K Neal Summit 300x225K. Neal Truck and Bus Center hosted its first large-scale customer appreciation event with more than 150 attendees and 23 sponsors last week at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Md.

In past years, K. Neal has held Safety and Compliance Seminars at smaller venues but decided it was time to revamp the event. This is the first year where the seminar was wrapped into a full customer experience event consisting of vendors, $5,000 in raffle prizes, and 10 vehicles onsite including a Hino 755 Cab Over Box Truck, Isuzu NRR Crew Cab Landscape Dump, IC Bus CE Series, and an International LT Day Cab Tractor.

K. Neal says attendees enjoyed the safety and compliance class, lunch, and networking opportunities. Raffle prizes went to customers including flat screen televisions, a weekend stay at a spa hotel, electronics and cash prizes. Most importantly, representatives from International, IC Bus, Isuzu, Hino, NAPA Automotive Parts, and Collins were onsite to speak to customer’s concerns and questions, the company ays.

Additionally, the company says attendees not only walked away with greater knowledge to enhance their business practices but had the opportunity to meet with K. Neal’s sales, parts, service, body and leasing staff to see the full breadth of K. Neal as a transportation solution.

“We really wanted an opportunity to give back and thank our customers for their business and partnership. Safety is the number one priority in transportation, so it made sense to bring this seminar to the Greater Washington region,” says Korey Neal, president of K. Neal. “I’d also like to thank all of the manufacturer representatives taking this opportunity to speak with customers directly.”

Attendees will receive the required training certification mandated by the FMCSA. The seminar was a joint effort by K. Neal/Idealease and the National Private Truck Council (NPTC), K. Neal says.
