Strick Trailers is adding the Whiting 1184HD Hold Open Device as standard on all Strick trailers with overhead doors.
“Everyone’s best is our standard,” says Justin Bell, vice president, Strick Engineering. “It is important that we spec smart, forward thinking components that will exceed our customers’ expectations; the 1184HD certainly adheres to that criteria.”
The Whiting 1184HD Hold Open Device ensures that the truck roll-up door is kept up and out of the way when loading and unloading freight. The device locks the door in place minimizing damage to the bottom panel while increasing usable opening height. The locked position also eliminates the door from “sagging” or “hanging down,” the company says.
The 1184HD is offered in conjunction with Whiting’s PremiumPlate door. The PremiumPlate door is constructed with polyethylene composite panels that are surrounded with pre-painted, high-tensile strength steel faces for a durable, high-impact surface.
