South Texas Truck Centers acquires two locations

South Texas Truck Centers has acquired the assets of Valley Truck Center and will now operate as the Volvo dealer in both Pharr and Laredo, Texas, along with its current Volvo location in Corpus Christi, Texas. Additionally, along with its current Mack location in Laredo, South Texas Truck Centers also will open a Mack location in Pharr.

“We are excited to continue to grow with the Mack and Volvo brand with the investments both companies have recently made in their product lineup,” says Mike Stricker, president, South Texas Truck Centers. “Current customers of both brands have been extremely pleased with the best in class fuel economy and minimal downtime experienced on the new VNL and Mack Anthem.

“This expansion will allow us to further service our customers in South Texas and provide industry leading uptime to customers who operate at a national or regional level.”

South Texas Truck Centers says the Laredo Volvo dealership will relocate to STTC’s current Mack Dealership facility at 1661 World Trade Loop until a permanent Volvo facility is finalized. The Pharr Volvo dealership will stay at 4301 N. Cage Blvd. and also will be the new Mack dealer at that location, the company says.
