Johnson & Towers Inc. and Western Branch Diesel Inc. announced Monday they have closed on a transaction merging the respective organizations.
Johnson & Towers and Western Branch Diesel, along with Johnson Truck Center and Dovell & Williams, will now all fall under the newly created Indel Power Group LLC. The companies will continue to go to market with their existing and well-known brands. Johnson & Towers and Western Branch Diesel have 165 years of combined experience as distributors for Detroit Diesel and MTU engines and Allison transmissions. Johnson Truck Center in Landover, Md., and Manassas, Va., is a truck dealer for Freightliner, Western Star and Autocar. Dovell & Williams is an Isuzu truck dealer in Glen Burnie and Frederick, Md. Both are also Mitsubishi Fuso truck dealers.
