UTA’s 20th convention already setting records

UTA convention logoThough its opening reception is still nearly two months away, the Used Truck Association (UTA) reports a record number of trucking professionals have already registered for its 2019 annual convention, the 20th in association history.

The UTA says the vendor expo for its upcoming convention, set for Nov. 6-9 in Indian Wells, Calif., is already sold out and sponsors are stepped up to support the event like never before. Yet in uncertain times, UTA says it makes sense that used truck professionals want to stay up to date on the market and make significant business connections.

“Because of the direct positive impact the UTA and its convention makes to my dealership it’s a must-attend event for me,” says McMahon Truck Centers’ Tim Ronan, director of used truck sales. “I leave the convention each year having learned something new, that I can immediately implement. The many new profitable business connections I make unquestionably contribute to our company’s bottom line.”

The UTA says registration is still open for this year’s event.

“The host hotel, the Marriott Renaissance in Indian Wells, is a fantastic facility next to the San Jacinto Mountains, with a world-class golf course,” says Hal Dickson, UTA convention chair. “The setting will provide convention goers with an all-encompassing experience allowing for fantastic networking with colleagues and industry providers.”
