Magnum says it has chosen to pass these savings on to the customer for a competitive edge in an ever-changing market.
“Magnum has always put quality first and, with these new capabilities, we are now able to offer very competitive pricing, along with superior engineering,” says David McLucas, Magnum vice president, truck accessories.
In addition to cost savings, the new machinery has improved Magnum’s control over the production schedule and further enhanced product quality, according to the company.
“This is the beginning of a series of upgrades to streamline operational efficiencies to meet the growing needs of our customers,” McLucas says.
In an ongoing commitment to personal development, Magnum technicians were given an operator training course as well as engineer training with the new software upgrades to support the latest in design innovation, the company says.
