Thomas Built Buses announced it has added TrailerCraft to its dealer network as the new exclusive Thomas Built Buses dealer for the state of Alaska.

TrailerCraft has been supporting customers in the Alaska area for the past 50 years as a school bus dealer for the past 40 years and as a Freightliner dealer for the past 25 years. More recently, TrailerCraft added Western Star trucks to its portfolio of products, according to an announcement. TrailerCraft has locations in Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska.

With a state-of-the-art facility staffed with technicians certified in Allison, Cummins and Detroit equipment, TrailerCraft is also a one-stop shop for customers wishing to upfit their buses for the rugged Alaska terrain, the companies say.

“We love working in the school bus industry and, more than that, we’ve loved working within the Daimler Trucks North America family through our work with Freightliner and Western Star,” says Lee McKenzie, TrailerCraft president. “We are excited to be all-in with Daimler Trucks North America through working with Thomas Built Buses.”

Caley Edgerly, Thomas Built Buses president and CEO, says “TrailerCraft will be a strong addition to our dealer network. They are a top-notch organization with an excellent reputation for customer service. We’re excited about the new opportunities awaiting TrailerCraft and Thomas Built Buses in Alaska.”
