Garage Equipment Supply, a distributor of vehicle shop products and systems, announced it now carries the HECAT Transmission Oil Cooler Flusher, which the company said is “a one-of-a-kind system that thoroughly flushes the transmission oil cooler using an air-operated, pulsating, scrubbing action to remove debris and build-up.”
The HECAT flushers cleanse and recycle the transmission oil flush after each use so it can be reused. According to the announcement, this transmission oil flush recycling technique is an economic solution for shop owners and their customers because it eliminates the wasteful and expensive practice of throwing away used oil flush, not to mention the environmental benefits of recycling petroleum products.
Additionally, the HECAT system uses a petroleum distillate cleaning solution to flush the oil coolers, as opposed to using transmission oil or detergent additives. This solution, the company said, breaks down build-up and debris more effectively to prolong the life of the transmission itself.
